Category: Hugo Drayton Appointed Managing Director, Europe For Advertising.Com Hugo Drayton Appointed Managing Director, Europe For Advertising.Com London, England - June 09, 2005 - Advertising.com, Inc., a leading provider of results-based interactive marketing services, today announced the appointment of Hugo Drayton as the new Managing Director for its European operations.
Mr. Drayton comes to Advertising.com with broad experience in media and international business. In addition to serving as Managing Director of The Telegraph, Hugo previously served as the company's Marketing and New Media Director. In that role, he was responsible for launching the UK's first online national newspaper. Prior to that, Hugo served as International Director for Reed Telemedia, where he launched audiotex (automated telephony) partnerships across Europe.
Drayton commented: "I am delighted to take on this exciting new challenge. Advertising.com's proven track record in the digital advertising market and continued international growth fit well with my online media knowledge and experience in building companies across Europe."
Bruce McLaren opened Advertising.com's first European office in 2000. The company's European operations currently include locations in France, Germany, Spain and Scandinavia, as well its headquarters in the UK. Mr. Drayton's goal will be to build on the solid foundation his predecessors established and significantly grow the business.
