Fast Search & Transfer ASA (FAST) today announced that Babelstore SA has signed a contract with FAST to deploy the FAST Enterprise Search Platform technology (FAST ESP) for PriceMinister, the leading French online marketplace.

The Paris-based eCommerce company Babelstore SA owns the PriceMinister brand name and operates www.priceminister.com. The PriceMinister website offers private and professional users a marketplace to trade in more than 15 million products from a wide selection, including books, videos, electronics, clothes and cars. Users also have the possibility to book travels through the service. Through its role as third-party guarantor, PriceMinister offers the peer-to-peer solution secure trading where the seller gets paid after the buyer receives the product. The PriceMinister community includes 3,115,000 members, and is one of the largest eCommerce websites in terms of revenue and one of the largest online communities in terms of number of users in France.

The FAST agreement with PriceMinister is based on software license, maintenance fees, and professional services
