Unlike other manufacturer's e-commerce web site which often conflicts with its traditional sales channels, Rockwell has implemented an innovative and patent pending "brick & click" approach that seamlessly connects its "brick & mortar" storefronts with its "point & click" transactional engine. Upon the sale of one of Rockwell's products, the customer is asked to register his/her purchase on Rockwell's web site and provide the identity of the store from which he/she has purchased the product. Subsequently, any future on-line purchases of Rockwell products by the same customer will entitle the registered store to receive a sales commission.
