Vonage Raises $200 Million in Venture Capital

Vonage Holdings Corp. has said it has raised US$200 million in a late-stage round of venture capital, helping to strengthen the company in its bid to lead the market for voice-over-Internet telephone services. It was the largest venture capital investment this year and made Vonage one of the most heavily venture-backed companies around.
