Commerce Commission will take court action against Internet scams originating in NZ and pass on info about international ones

Commerce Commission Director of Fair Trading Deborah Battell says that while sending unsolicited material through the Internet is not illegal in New Zealand, scams are and court action is one of the options available to the commission.
