121Media Names Industry Vets to Lead Sales and Marketing Initiatives

Chris Hogan and Tom Jenen Drive 121Media’s Foray into Targeted WiFi/ISP Ad Serving

121Media, a leading provider of ISP-based targeting solutions for online advertisers, recently announced Chris Hogan, formerly VP of sales at Expedia, and Tom Jenen, formerly the director of global marketing for Falk eSolutions, as vice presidents of the sales and marketing departments, respectively.

Chris Hogan brings more than 10 years of experience in online advertising sales and management. Before joining 121Media, Chris was VP of Sales at Expedia Inc, a leading online travel company, where he directed ad sales and operations. He has held media positions on both the agency and publisher sides of the business with Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising and American Airlines Publishing. He joined Expedia in 2000, where he spent six years building the advertising sales team establishing key relationships with both travel and non-travel advertising partners.

As VP of sales for 121Media, he will be responsible for leading North American sales initiatives including strategic alliances, partnerships with content providers and advertising sales development.

Tom Jenen joins 121Media following the successful sale of Falk eSolutions AG to DoubleClick. As director of global marketing, Tom set and oversaw the execution the company’s trade marketing strategy in North America and across Europe for their industry-leading AdSolutions platform. Prior to Falk, Tom was the marketing director for rich media technology provider, Eyeblaster, where he was instrumental in the company’s tremendous growth and development into the category leader. Overseeing marketing, advertising and public relations, Tom directed brand strategy, communications and sales support efforts, as well as creating the industry’s first awards to honor creativity in rich media.

At 121Media Tom will lead the marketing and communication programs for the company and new products launches, providing strategic counsel on marketing and corporate positioning to the executive team and other department heads.
