The seal was issued following a thorough, independent examination by global professional services firm KPMG, and covers the Ariba Supplier Network™, Ariba Sourcing™ and Ariba Analysis™. Ariba received its first WebTrust seal in 2001.

A joint effort of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA), the WebTrust program provides a set of globally recognized standards designed to address consumer and business concerns over the privacy and security of information exchanged online. To earn a WebTrust seal, e-commerce providers must demonstrate that their systems are protected from unauthorized access and use, are available as intended, process transactions and data as intended and maintain the confidentiality of member data and information.

There are more than 120,000 registered suppliers on the Ariba Supplier Network, where they are able to conduct business with their trading partners. In addition, hundreds of companies leverage Ariba’s sourcing applications to effectively manage their spend.
