BEE LINE CABLE ANNOUNCES NEW HIGH-SPEED INTERNET SERVICE

Bee Line Cable T-V Incorporated is launching a high-speed Internet access service in five northern Maine cities.

Beeline Cable Beeline is upgrading its cable network in the area and intends to offer broadband access sometime after May 1. 512Kbps download and 128Kbps upload. $25 per month to cable customers. $30 per month to non-cable customers.

Getting high-speed internet throughout the state was among the technology goals in Governor John Baldacci's State of the State address last January...
