Fast Search & Transfer ASA (FAST) today announced that World Directories Group, one of the leading local directory providers, signed an agreement to deploy FAST Enterprise Search Platform technology (FAST ESP) for directory services, FAST Advisor, across its directory services offerings in Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal and Ireland.
World Directories is a leading international directories business operating in the classified advertising market through print, on-line and phone channels. World Directories create value for customers and users by providing an integrated portfolio of cost-effective and simple-to-use advertising that connects buyers quickly and efficiently with sellers.
World Directories offers a variety of directory formats in countries across Europe, Africa and the Caribbean such as Golden Pages, Gouden Gids, Pages d'Or, Páginas Amarelas and Pagini Aurii. There are over 625,000 customers across the countries where the Antwerp-based company operates, generating over 480m EUR of revenues.
The FAST agreement with World Directories is based on software license, maintenance fees, and professional services.
