The Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition will run on Intel Xeon, Intel Pentium 4 and AMD Athlon 64 processors.

Microsoft Corp. Chairman and Chief Software Architect, Bill Gates yesterday announced the availability of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition during his keynote address at the 14th annual Microsoft Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC).
