Homeland Security Network, Inc. Provides Additional Spinoff Details

Homeland Security Network, Inc. (HSNi formerly AutoCorp Equities, Inc. - (OTCBB:ACOR) today provided additional details regarding the planned spin-offs approved by a majority of the shareholders.

FRISCO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 2005--Homeland Security Network, Inc. (HSNi formerly AutoCorp Equities, Inc. - (OTCBB:ACOR - News)) today provided additional details regarding the planned spin-offs approved by a majority of the shareholders.

ADVERTISEMENT All shareholders of HSNi will be entitled to receive, as of the record date for each spin-off (date to be announced), additional shares in each spinoff in addition to the shares that they currently hold in HSNi. The number of shares to be issued will be proportional to each shareholder's ownership interest in HSNi. Holders of freely-trading shares in HSNi will receive freely-trading shares in each subsidiary as well. Management expects that one or more of the spun-off subsidiaries may discontinue present operations and may seek mergers with other businesses with improved prospects. Accordingly, assets presently held in the subsidiaries may be classified for accounting purposes as "held for sale" or as "discontinued operations." While there may not initially be a market for the shares of the spun-off companies, management of each subsidiary will seek to list the shares on the best market that each may qualify for.

Management believes that the reorganization will qualify as a tax-free exchange. The purpose of effecting the spinoffs is to enhance overall shareholder value.

About Homeland Security Network, Inc.

Homeland Security Network, Inc. (ACOR), a publicly-traded holding company, has entered into acquisition agreements with Rodwell Software Systems and ComTrak Solutions. These companies, brought to HSNi by some of its major shareholders, produce and market revolutionary new GPS tracking devices and software. The Company, formerly known as AutoCorp Equities, Inc. changed its name to Homeland Security Network, Inc. on February 28th, 2005 to reflect the direction of its new course of business. The company will capitalize on rapidly-emerging, largely under-served, GPS tracking markets. These markets, whose scope was dramatically accelerated by the increased need for Homeland Security, have a potential demand in excess of 100 million units-plus in the United States, Canada and Mexico over the next decade. HSNi plans to lead the GPS tracking industry through the combined assets of its newly acquired companies' propriety software and market distribution capabilities. The re-structured company is also completing negotiations with a major international electronics manufacturer that will give it the ability to quickly and economically expand its sales efforts to all of its targeted markets. HSNi expects to capture a dominant share of the GPS market with its ability to provide, in large quantities, the lowest cost tracking hardware, and to offer the most cost-effective data transmission fees (wireless airtime consumer costs) in the industry. Airtime costs, which largely inhibit the current GPS market's product sales and deployments, will be nearly 2000% lower for HSNi than those of its nearest competitor for comparable data transmissions. The company's GPS products will incorporate state-of-the-art map tracking and trailing, geo-fencing alerts for designated parameter infringements, and the ability to uniquely control all vehicle functions from its customer's web-enabled mobile phones or personal computers, via the company's proprietary Internet website system software.
