This strategy is an important step in putting customers in charge of their IT infrastructures. As a subscription-based offering, JBoss ON delivers dramatic savings in total cost of ownership (TCO) and provides a holistic environment for inventory management, administration and configuration, monitoring, software updates and provisioning of applications based on JBoss Enterprise Middleware Suite (JEMS). Red Hat is working with other network and systems management vendors to ensure that management data can be shared with existing customer management installations.
