Nortel Seals $448 Million Deal for PEC Solutions

Nortel Networks Corp. has announced a US$448-million acquisition of PEC Solutions Inc., a specialist in technology services for American military and law-enforcement departments. The Canadian technology company said today that the takeover will enable it to mount a co-ordinated offensive on the U.S. government market.
