1KTV Appoints David Bluhm As Chief Executive Officer; Wireless Pioneer and Mforma Co-Founder Joins Leading Provider of On-Demand Mobile Television Services
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 4, 2005--1KTV, the innovative, on-demand mobile television network, announced today that David Bluhm, former Mforma co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at WUF Networks, has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.
Bluhm, a 20-year veteran in the wireless technology industry, recently served as the CEO of WUF Networks, a company which allowed mobile users to access and stream rich media to their mobile phones and was acquired by Yahoo! to power their Yahoo! Music Mobile service. Prior to this, Bluhm co-founded Mforma, a leading global publisher and distributor of mobile entertainment. Bluhm has also held executive positions at various other wireless companies, providing advanced technologies and services for a range of wireless carriers and mobile phone users.
