Its sustained performance is 91.29 trillion calculations per second. David Turek, IBM's vice president of deep computing, said that that performance puts it right behind IBM's fastest supercomputer, the Blue Gene. IBM (NYSE: IBM) plans to announce today that it has built a new supercomputer it expects to be ranked among the fastest in the world.
